Kidsafe VIC Inc
Every year in Victoria 33 children are killed and a further 75,500 ( 1 in every 13 Victorian children) are treated in hospital for injuries. Most of these deaths and injuries that cause great hurt and hardship to children and their families are preventable. Kidsafe Victoria works in conjunction with other like minded organisations to promote child injury prevention and educate the Victorian public in the effort to preserve and protect the lives of our children. Kidsafe provides child safety expertise and policy advice to the public, government and private agencies, corporate organisations, research bodies and community networks. Kidsafe is at the forefront of detecting emerging issues and is regularly sought by government and industry to represent the views of parent and child consumers. Kidsafe achieves child safety through environmental, regulatory and behavioural change.

National Kidsafe Day is a fundraising event which aims to raise awareness of the leading causes of unintentional injuries to children and provide parents and children with simple strategies of how to stay safe. You can help us by either donating directly, or by creating your own Online Giving fundraising page and choosing an event; this can be participating in a fun run or even going without talking for a day (which may be more appealing for some to sponsor than others!).
Your donation will help Kidsafe Victoria provide child safety education programs and advice to many parents, and carers in Victoria, as well allowing us to remain proactive in our advocacy for all children to have the right to grow up in a safe environment.
