Top Fundraising Tips
To encourage others to dig deep for your chosen charity, here are some tried and tested tips we've gathered about how to raise more money for your chosen cause:
- Personalise your fundraising page: tell people why this cause matters to you and why you'd love them to support you and your charity
- Include a fundraising goal: think big! People are more likely to give if they see they're helping you reach your goal. And remember, when you reach your goal, you can always log into your account and increase it!
- Send the link to your fundraising page to everyone you know - most people are happy to help a good cause and someone they know
- Provide your friends with updates on your progress - use email, Facebook, and/or Twitter to let people know how close you are to hitting your fundraising goal to prompt those that haven't donated yet to dig deep
- Send a thank-you email the week after your event to thank those who have already sponsored you, let people know how your event went and remind everyone that it's not too late to sponsor you
