Top Fundraising Tips
To encourage others to dig deep for your chosen charity, here are some tried and tested tips we've gathered about how to raise more money for your chosen cause:
- Personalise your fundraising page: tell people why this cause matters to you and why you'd love them to support your charity
- Include a fundraising goal: think big! People are more likely to give if they see they're helping you reach your goal. And remember, when you reach your goal, you can always log into your account and increase it!
- Send the link to your fundraising page to everyone you know - most people are happy to help a good cause and support someone they know
- Provide your friends with updates on your progress - if you're training for an event, use the blog tool to keep people updated on your progress
- Send a thank-you email the week before your event to your network to thank those who have already sponsored you and remind those who haven't that it's not too late to sponsor you
